Supporting the Energy transition: Case Studies
Having spent over 10 years in the Oil Services industry, I have a keen interest in understanding the fundamentals of the Energy market – the politics and economics, the men and women of the industry, the resources and technologies, the short term versus the long-term, the safety and environmental risks, and of course the urgency of the energy transition. I am fascinated by the technologies driving this transition and I seek to promote these new developments through my work.
Wärtsilä is a global leader in smart technologies and complete lifecycle solutions for the marine and energy markets. With 74GW of capacity, it provides 1% of the world’s energy. The company operates in more than 80 countries around the world.
I have recently produced thought leadership articles to position Wartsila’s messages firmly at the centre of the African energy debate. This includes an editorial based on a webinar recording conducted by Mining Review Africa entitled: “Reliability, Efficiency & Sustainability – Optimized energy management for the Fekola Gold Mine in Mali”
“What a great experience to see how you have gathered my message from the webinar into a written piece. Thank you for this!!!”
